Dear Parents and Guardians,
We want to ensure our families are kept informed about the ongoing provincial labour negotiations between the Alberta Teachers’ Association (ATA) and the Teachers’ Employer Bargaining Association (TEBA).
Today, September 12, 2025, the ATA provided official notice of a strike. They have indicated that service interruptions could begin as early as October 6. All schools remain open at this time.
At this time, this is all the information we have. We remain hopeful that negotiations will continue. We understand the uncertainty this may cause and are committed to providing clear and consistent updates as soon as new information becomes available.
